CrushScout publishes independent reviews of AI companion and AI girlfriend apps. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, contact us and we will walk you through it.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site. That means basic, privacy-friendly analytics (pages viewed, rough region, device type, referring site) so we know which reviews are useful, and the email address you give us if you subscribe to our newsletter. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect the contents of any conversations you have with the apps we review. Those never touch our servers.

Cookies and analytics

We aim to use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that does not track you across other sites. If we ever add cookie-based tracking, we will show a consent banner first. Affiliate links on this site may set a cookie from the destination app so that a signup can be credited to us. That cookie is controlled by the app, not by CrushScout, and it does not tell us who you are.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to apps are affiliate links, marked as sponsored and routed through our /out redirect. If you subscribe to an app through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never change a score or ranking, and our safety, privacy, and legal coverage carries no affiliate links at all.

Your email

If you subscribe, we use your email only to send the newsletter you asked for. We never sell it, and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click. If you ask us to delete it, we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. These rights apply under the GDPR in the EU and UK and the CCPA and CPRA in California, and we honor requests regardless of where you are. To make a request, contact us and we will respond within the timeframe your law requires.

A note on the apps we review

The AI companion apps we cover store your conversations on their own servers, and their privacy practices are their own, not ours. We test and report on those practices in every review, but this policy only governs CrushScout. Before sharing anything sensitive with any app, read its policy and our privacy guide.
